I’m Karla, a passionate color and materials consultant from Guatemala. My love for art and design began early, leading me to explore various creative mediums before discovering my true calling in Interior Design.

Since moving to the United States in 2007, I have deepened my expertise in color consultation. In 2010, I studied color under Benjamin Moore and designer KC Cohn, where I honed my ability to translate color into practical and aesthetically pleasing design solutions. This experience launched my career as a full-time Color and Design Consultant.

For over eleven years, I worked with the Strosniders team, helping clients in Potomac, Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Washington DC, Virginia, and beyond discover how thoughtful color and material selections can transform their spaces. While I enjoy bold color choices, I also excel at creating serene, neutral environments. My design philosophy focuses on how color can evoke emotion and enhance well-being.

Having owned an Airbnb rental property, I’ve gained valuable insights into creating inviting spaces through strategic remodeling and staging. I believe color and materials are powerful tools that influence mood and energy in any environment. I work closely with clients to develop personalized color palettes for both interiors and exteriors that reflect their unique styles.
